Damir is a startup entrepreneur based in Zagreb, Croatia. He was the co-founder and the CEO of Photomath, one of the most popular educational apps in the world, which had more than 500 million downloads globally and was acquired by Google in 2023. 

Today, Damir is a Director of Software Engineering at Google, leading Google’s engineering team in Croatia. He was also the co-founder of Microblink, R&D company which produces AI based computer vision and data extraction software technology and was the founder and CEO of Iskon, the first private internet service provider and one of the first VC backed companies in Croatia. 

Damir has a computer science degree and his last two startups were built around AI technologies. Building new, exciting digital products and providing great user experience powered by the state of the art technology is something he enjoys the most.
